LegDay 2021

This year Nevada PTA Day at that the Legislature is all virtual. All PTA members and the community who support our mission are invited to participate by getting engaged on social media and contact your elected officials on Thursday, April 29th.  

Nevada PTA will be again sharing the 2021 Legislative Priorities with our representatives as well as highlighting the need for increased equitable education. SB 543 the new funding formula in progress must be implemented with equity and a plan for optimal funding adopted.

How can you participate? 

• SHARE A SELFIE: Take and share a selfie with one of these fillable signs. Just print, write in your message, snap a pic of you and/or your kids and share. If possible tag your representative.

• OUTREACH TO LEGISLATORS:
  • Email Elected Officials: Use one of our simple email contact options to quickly contact your representatives on April 29th.
  • Engage on Social Media:  Share why you support public education and support the Nevada PTA Legislative Priorities.
