As Nevada responses to the COVID-19 pandemic schools are closed until at least April 6, 2020. The Nevada PTA Programs Committee wants to help share resources that families can use during this time at home to keep kids engaged in learning and fun.
We encourage families to check your school or district website to find links for the programs that your child is may already use at school. Many schools use digital programs that students can access from home. These programs are more likely to align with what your child was doing at school prior to the closure. Also, even if your local library is closed, the library website most likely connects you to dozens of digital resources. Las Vegas Valley Library District Online Resources.
National PTA has created a COVID-19 resource site with a wide range of information including links to current legislative issues and information on PTA advocacy at the federal level.
National PTA Programs offers a wide variety of resources and information that can be used at home. Check at all the options at https://www.pta.org/home/programs
