It’s Teacher Appreciation Week! Nevada PTA has teamed up with Raising Canes to share the love for the amazing Nevada educators who make a difference in the lives of our students today and always. Families are invited to submit a video or photo shout out recognizing your favorite educator. Teachers will be selected based upon submitted videos to receive a special Gift Basket prize provided by Raising Canes. Give a video shout out to your favorite teacher, post it on Instagram with the #OneLoveforNVEducators, tagging @nevadapta or submit using this Google Form. A winning educator will be selected each day to receive a special gift basket from Raising Canes. Submit videos from May 5-8, 2020.
2020 Teacher Appreciation Week
This year, as school buildings are closed, Teacher Appreciation Week activities will look different but are no less important. Nevada educators have risen to this unprecedented challenge with caring and inventive solutions to make sure students can continue to learn while also ensuring emotional and physical needs are met. Thank you is simply not enough for all that educators do each day but we do want to express our appreciation and gratitude.
Nevada PTA invites our community share your thanks for educators on social media using the hashtags #ThankATeacherNV and #WeLOVENevadaEducators. As Teacher Appreciation Week, like much of life, moves virtual we know these messages of thanks, though small, can still help uplift and encourage. National PTA has also provided a tool kit with ideas, graphics, and resources that can be added to websites and share as you would like to help further celebrate TAW 2020.
