Nevada PTA has partnered with Americas Schools Program to promote passive fundraising while protecting the environment. Why do we call it passive fundraising? Because most of us spend money on most of these products anyway. There is no door to door sales. The next time you buy coffee or printer cartridges just do it online through Americas School and passively give education in Nevada a donation. ASP has developed special programs to fund K-12 extracurricular activities in conjunction with leading manufacturers and service providers. Whenever you see a product or service bearing the America's Schools Program mark, you can tell that a part of your purchase will go to help K-12 programs. Recycling ProgramThe America's Schools Inkjet/Toner and Cell Phone Recycling Program is a cost-free, hassle-free way you can recycle your used printer cartridges and cell phones to help the environment and help your schools. Each cartridge or cell phone is typically worth $1 (some are worth up to $30). To date, hundreds of businesses, schools, chambers of commerce, non-profits and government agencies have joined in this national program.
You can save 40% to 60% off retail prices on high-quality inkjet and toner cartridges made by the fifth largest manufacturer in the country. Each cartridge comes with a three-year guarantee. Typically 10 to 20% of the purchase goes to help K-12 programs.  SchoolHouse Coffee Program This is a simple and new revenue source for Chambers of Commerce, booster clubs, schools and PTAs. SchoolHouse Gourmet Coffee, an official partner of ASP, has been featured at many PTA events. Not only have they enjoyed this freshly roasted coffee, but had a chance to realize first hand, the revenue potential of this easy funding program. $1.75 from each pound of coffee goes back to help local PTAs/ education.  ASP Plan 4 College ASP has partnered with Plan 4 College Inc., Nevada PTA and school boards to bring students and their families invaluable information about planning for college and careers. The seminars include tips for selection of courses, test taking strategies and financial aid planning. Merchandizing Program ASP has developed a merchandizing program wherein our partners can purchase factory-direct customized clothing. In addition to saving significantly on the cost, you will make a royalty on the sale of each item. ASP has worked with PTAs, chambers of commerce and non-profits to provide their clothing. Aim Insurance has partnered with Nevada PTA to provide insurance to all Nevada PTA Units at a discounted rate. They cover PTA events and PTA Board Members Actions, and are great friend at our annual convention. Call Aim Insurance with questions on coverage at 1-214-360-9104 Grow Network Nevada parents and guardians will receive reports about their children's recent standardized test results in reading, writing and math.
