Region IV Happenings
My name
is Verda Hines and I will be serving as Region IV Director for the next two
years. This promises to be an exciting year and we want you to be a part of it
all. I made a promise that I would improve communication within the region and
this is one I intend to keep. Our first step is to utilize the database of unit
officers to email all pertinent information to your entire board,
not just the president. We hope this helps relieve you of the burden info
gatekeeper!
Membership cards will continue to be available in the state office at 6134 W.
Charleston Blvd. on Thursdays from 10am – 1pm.
The new
council has been trained, and working together, we want to see our region grow,
to speak for every child in one strong voice. I am asking that each and every
unit send one or two representatives to Lake Mead Council meetings. This will be
your place to receive updates on what is going on in the region, additional
training, and the opportunity to network with other PTA leaders. We hope to
produce a newsletter every other month that will keep you informed with updates
on what is going on in the region those months Council does not meet.
